This week, Cancer Research UK's News Digest gives us updates on the Grand Challenge, e-cigarettes, bone marrow transplants, red wine, a breath and urine test, cancer patient waiting times, pancreatic cancer, blood platelets, genetic makeup of breast tumours, spared weeks of radiotherapy, high prices of new cancer drugs, new collaborations, and finally….. salmonella? This week's number is 4, which is the he number of international teams that will be addressing three of our Grand Challenge problems.
