Cancer Detection

Symptoms of Ovarian Cancer

Pay Attention to Symptoms

There are certain symptoms are more likely to occur in women with ovarian cancer than women in the general population.

  • A swollen or bloated abdomen
  • Pressure or pain in the abdomen, pelvis, back, or legs
  • Difficulty eating or feeling full quickly
  • Nausea, indigestion, gas, constipation, or diarrhea
  • Feeling very tired all the time
  • Urinary symptoms (urgency or frequency)
  • Unusual vaginal bleeding (heavy periods, or bleeding after menopause)

If you have any of these symptoms, you do not necessarily have cancer. But you should see your doctor immediately for a thorough check-up.
